Who Shows Up When Your Child Learns?
For parents
A creative exploration for parents who want to look more closely at the emotional reactions that surface when learning with their children.
Through expressive arts, reflection, and guided exploration, parents can better understand their patterns, ground into trust and confidence, and create more space for connection.
Heartwood: Nature, Art and Emotional Learning
Heartwood is a 3-week program rooted in emotional wellness held Fridays from 9am - 1pm for kids ages 4 to 12. Thoughtfully designed art, music, movement, and nature-based experiences invite children to explore feelings, curiosity, and self-expression together.
There is intentional time for open-ended exploration and play, giving children room to follow curiosity, slow down, and connect with one another and the world around them. Each setting becomes part of the experience, whether we're exploring wooded trails, gardens, open land, or gathering around a fire.

Who is showing up when I learn with my child?
Learning with our children can bring up old experiences, expectations, worries, and strong reactions. Self-Led Learning™ helps parents notice what gets activated and understand what is underneath it.
Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR frameworks, this coaching supports parents in developing a more grounded presence and a felt sense of safety for themselves and their children.
What This Is
A guided experience for parents ready to explore what shapes the way they show up during learning.
What to Expect
Creative exploration, reflection, and honest conversation in an empathetic and encouraging group setting with like-hearted parents.
